Friends we need a miracle. I had just left the hospital for the evening when I got a call telling me to come back. Joel had been stable all day and all of the sudden this evening his blood pressure dropped and his pupils stopped reacting. They took him to CT which showed the swelling has returned. There's not really much that can be done medically as we have run out of options. At this point they are just trying to keep him stable. We need your prayers for a miracle. I know it's been a long haul and we've been praying hard but now we need your prayers more than we've ever needed them. We need a God to move on our behalf. Here's the thing-even though circumstances change God doesn't. In our human eyes it's easy to get fearful and swayed back and forth by circumstances but Gods word and His promises are unchanging. We stand on them with all our might. My husband will live and not die to declare the works of The Lord. And when you've done all you can-stand. We stand for Joel's life.
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.
