ICU-Day 1

Nothing is impossible for You, nothing is impossible. Nothing is impossible for You-for You hold my world in Your hands. Joel remains in ICU in critical condition. His vitals and everything have held steady. They have told us that they now believe the bleeding in the brain was caused by a stroke, this time on the opposite side of his brain. They do not give us good reports. In fact it seems to be their daily mission to try to convince me to let go of my husband. I will not do that. At this point we are warring over my husband and contending for his life. From now on (besides doctors because I can't say they're not allowed in the room-although most days I wish I could) as a family we will not let anyone into the room to visit my husband unless you have 100% faith that he will be healed. That may sound extreme but as his wife I am the gatekeeper of what kind of energy we are allowing to be around my husband. And for now, we only want positive faith-filled belief surrounding him. You might only be 99% sure, we understand, but don't come to the hospital unless you are 100% sure that he will live. This is as serious of a situation as it gets and we are spending our time speaking life to my husband and praying over him-fullness, wholeness and nothing less. If you don't feel like you can pray and believe that prayer, we understand. If you can stand and pray that prayer of belief with us, we thank you, and we ask that you pray like never before.

Nothing is impossible for my God. My husband will live and not die to declare the works of The Lord.

Psalm 91-9-16 9 If you make the Most High your dwelling-- even the LORD, who is my refuge-- 10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."
