ICU-Day 13

Well tomorrows the day and in our journey to Joel's recovery I'd say it's a pretty big day. Tomorrow is CT scan day. Joel's original brain swelling shift was 2.5 cm. On the last scan it was 1.6 cm. This scan we need it to be around .6 to get him off of the hypothermia. Dr's have said their "gut feeling" is that he won't be there. Guess what mine is? I believe he will! It's important to get him off of hypothermia because one things triggers another. If we can get him off then that means we can start to get him off the vent. The closer we get to being off of the vent means the less likely we will have the trachea and on and on it goes. So tomorrows a big day and we are praying for big results. I don't just like little squeaking by results I like big amazing results so there's no doubt that the miraculous is occurring! The miraculous has already started to occur and it is already having an affect on medical personnel. So test results aren't just test results one thing triggers another-that all will see and know His greatness.Thank you for your continual prayers. The scan is scheduled for 10:00am. I will blog once I have the results.

How Great-Chris Tomlin

The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty Let all the earth rejoice All the earth rejoice

He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide And trembles at His voice Trembles at His voice

How great is our God, sing with me How great is our God, and all will see How great, how great is our God

Age to age He stands And time is in His hands Beginning and the end Beginning and the end

The Godhead Three in One Father Spirit Son The Lion and the Lamb The Lion and the Lamb

Name above all names Worthy of our praise My heart will sing How great is our God

How great is our God, sing with me How great is our God, and all will see How great, how great is our God
