Today Milo Andrew turned the big t-w-o.There are so many things I love about this boy. He has the same caretaker spirit within him that his Daddy did. If we are somewhere new, and he senses introverted Mama being too quiet, he will come over and check on me. The other day he did this and asked "you ok?" just like his Daddy did a thousand times before. He makes friends everywhere we go. It's not unusual for him to walk into a room full of people and say "hi guys!!" and dive right in. He also has a heart for others and if he notices someone's sad he runs over to comfort them. He such a helper and loves to help me with any task I'm doing, especially cleaning. He hears something one time and remembers it forever. Another thing he picked up from his Daddy. He does something, every single day, that makes me laugh until I almost cry. He's also strong and will tell you what he wants when he wants it. I love this quality about him. Thankfully we've been able to mold it so when he wants something he puts a "please" or "thank you" along with it. He loves to sing. He loves to dance. He loves to act. He doesn't just watch a movie, he acts out every scene along with it. I just get to sit really still and be his co-star. He loves people and so many people love him. He doesn't quite know it yet, but he's surrounded by love and blessed to have some incredible people in his life. This birthday was a hard one because his Daddy should be here. I can't change that. I can only move forward with a thankful heart for what we do have, each other. As difficult as this year has been there's been no better person to walk beside me than this boy. He's Gods greatest gift that I get to delight in every single day. He is so very, very loved. Happy birthday Milo!!
