We are still praying for little Ellis. Still believing, still hoping against hope. We are so weary but we are still standing. Thank you for your prayers and messages and for sharing our story. Thank you for asking your friends and family to join with us in prayer. I've been astounded at the number of people who've visited this site and ready about her story. There's something about this precious little girl that's so, so easy to love. Even with every chord and tube attached to her little body, she radiates beauty still. We are still needing seizures to stop. They have not. We are still needing swelling to decrease. It has not. We are needing her to initiate breaths on her own once again. And we are still needing a miracle for her brain to be restored.
When I was pregnant with Ellis I was looking up different quotes. I knew I wanted something powerful to put on her wall and not just any quote would do. Then I found the quote that stood out to me and I thought would be true for her life. It says "When she wakes she will move mountains". Believing that now more than ever for my baby girl.
I'm so very proud of my daughter. So proud.
But thanks be to God. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57
We stand together in unity to declare that Ellis will live and not die. She will live to declare Jehovah is God, and her life will be a light and testimony to the nations. We declare that darkness is as light to you, God. We call forth light into the dark places and believe that what the enemy intends for evil, God is using for good. We break the power of every stronghold and argument over her life that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper. We declare that her spirit will rise up and lead her soul and her body. Ellis Claire Rodriguez, arise, shine, His glory is upon you.
